After your match, the winner should report the score. Pausing mid match without consent of both players will result in forfeiting a round by the player who paused. Now that I'm in a better situation, I always buy all their games, including neo geo roms that I already had and shitty games (I paid full price for samurai shodown sen and KOF XII lol) just as a thank you for all those years where I played their great games for free.
Then I discovered the rest of SNK games, I downloaded all the soundtracks, and enjoyed the whole story of SNK as a company. After that I started to discover other KOF games, I though that 2003 must be the best game in the neo geo since they already had 9 years of improving the same formula, I was a silly boy in my childhood at first I thought that SNK was a poor's man version of capcom games, but when I played 95' for the first time, there was something that hooked me in, I don't know if it were the pixel art, the animated stages, or the gorgeous music, but I felt that I was playing something so UNIQUE.
(KOF98AE) Without going into too much detail, this version is a legit expansion of the game. But one version, King of Fighters 98 Anniversary Edition, needs to be kept.

Then, in 2004-2005 approx, I was in a situation where my family and I didn't had enough money to buy some luxuries like videogames, so I for some odd reason decided to download an cps2/neo geo emulator. There are a lot of King of fighters copies, like the chinese versions and all that. When I was a kid, I wasn't that much into fighting games, I went to arcades and all that stuff but just to play some racers, pinballs or beat em ups.
